Raquel L. Jarrett, President, Chief Marketing Officer and Founder of Jarrett Communications Group, Inc. served in the journalism, marketing and advertising fields professionally for 15 years. Prior to these great years, Ms. Jarrett attended Texas A&M University at College Station and Texas A&M University at Commerce. She graduated with a B.S. Degree in Journalism and Advertising in 1994. Before graduation, Ms. Jarrett worked as a paid part time News Reporter and Advertising Sales Manager for The East Texan newspaper for 2 years to gain experience, confidence and to be one step ahead for the future. The work experience was a benefit to the start of her career.

Ms. Jarrett worked in the media industry as a Journalist, an Advertising Executive for Local, Regional and Major Accounts and an Advertising Sales Training Supervisor for Local, Major and National Accounts for many productive years. She also served as the Project Leader for numerous special publications and events. In 1995, Ms. Jarrett started her career at The Fort-Worth Star Telegram in Ft. Worth, Texas where she was awarded membership into the company’s prestigious “Masters’ Club” for great advertising sales and leadership achievements. Two years later, she worked for The Dallas Morning News/dallasnews.com in Dallas, Texas where she garnered many advertising sales awards and was inducted into the “President’s Club” as a Gold Level member. In July 2002, Ms. Jarrett moved to Atlanta, Georgia and worked for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution/ajc.com where she achieved many sales awards and was inducted into the “In Search of Excellence Club”.

During Ms. Jarrett’s years of working with the media, she always enjoyed creating new ideas for her clients. At times, she collaborated with competitive media companies to help make sure her clients were getting the best mix of media solutions for achieving the best results. She built great relationships with her clients as a result of her attentiveness to their needs. Networking with other media resources helped her gain the knowledge and work experience with outdoor media, radio and broadcast/cable television advertising. She understood and still understands the value of each medium and takes pleasure in recommending only what is best for her clients.

As the President and CMO of Jarrett Communications Group, Inc., Ms. Jarrett is enthusiastic about the team and clients she works with. She understands without them, there is no JCG. This company was inspired and created by Ms. Jarrett because she has a passion for marketing, advertising, public relations and helping companies achieve success. Her vision is for her and the team to serve companies worldwide that need solid and fresh ideas to capture more business and new revenue streams. Ms. Jarrett is an enterprising leader by nature. She, as well as her team focuses their talents and time on working with companies that want to invest what is needed to help grow their customer base. Ms. Jarrett has served in several civic organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters (Big Sister Volunteer), Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Chapter Anniversary Chairman, Graduate Advisor for Undergraduate Members at University of Texas at Arlington, Public Relations Chairman, Scholarship Fundraising Chairman, Cotillion Committee Member), Church – Community Outreach and Tutors for Special Needs. Giving back to the community is also part of Jarrett Communications Group’s mission.
